Accordionist and composer Marianna Filippi’s musical language is inspired by the music of Maurice Ravel and Japanese film composer Joe Hisaishi. Marianna has always harbored a love of scoring for theatre and film and been commissioned to score theatrical productions including most notably the adaption of Lars Von Trier’s film ‘Dogville’ performed at the Burton Theatre, and Bruce Guthrie’s ‘Man to Man’, which premiered at the Welsh Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
Blue Café is a new, intimate performance space on the third floor of the Camden Opera House, showcasing performances you won’t see anywhere else! Doors open at 7 pm, show starts approx. 7:45. Admission is always free (donations welcome), bar provided by 40 Paper Bistro and Bar! Bring a friend.
